[SharePoint 2013] – Import AD User Profile bằng Active Directory Import

Với phương thức SharePoint Profile Synchronization ở phiên bản SharePoint đòi hỏi bạn phải cấu hình, thiết lập đầy đủ các quyền hạn trước khi User Profile Synchronization Service có thể thực hiện việc kết nối và đồng bộ User Profile từ Active Directory vào SharePoint 2010. SharePoint 2013 giới thiệu một phương thức mới có tên Active Directory Import cho phép kết nối trực tiếp đến Active Directory để thực hiện việc việc import user profile.

Bằng một thử nghiệm đồng bộ hóa khoảng 200.000 user và 600.000 group trên Active Directory, Microsoft kết luận thời gian đồng bộ tất cả trong vòng 60 giờ trong khi với phương thức cơ bản đến gần 2 tuần cho việc đồng bộ.

Một số vấn đề bạn cần xem xét khi lựa chọn phương thức Active Directory Import.

Bạn không thể thực hiện đồng bộ 2 chiều giữa Active Directory và SharePoint. Nói cách khác, Active Directory Import chỉ giúp bạn import user profile một chiều từ Active Directory đến SharePoint.
Bạn không thể kết nối đến các hệ thống bên ngoài khác nhu Dynamic CRM, SAP, Oracle. Active Directory Import chỉ hoạt động trong môi trường Active Directory.

Tác giả bài viết giả sử bạn đã hoàn tất việc tạo User Profile Service Application. Mở Central Administration site, click Application Management > Manage service applications > User Profile Service application. Bên dưới Synchronization, click Configure Synchronization Settings. Tại thiết lập Synchronization Options, lựa chọn Use SharePoint Active Directory Import.

Bước tiếp theo bạn cần làm là tạo mới một synchronization connection, các bước làm tương tự trên SharePoint 2010.

Microsoft has published the RTM edition of SharePoint 2013 product on the MSDN Subscription website. If you have subscription account whether MSDN or TechNet, you can get the RTM package installation. Log in to MSDN Subscription website using your valid account and then click Subscriber Download.

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, Visio 2013 and Project 2013 are available on MSDN Subscription as well.

In terms of the release road-map, Microsoft announced, in this post, that Volume Licensing customers with Software Assurance will be able to download the Office 2013 application as well as other Office products including SharePoint 2013, Lync 2013 and Exchange 2013 through the Volume Licensing Service Center by mid-November. IT professional and developers will be able to download the final version via their TechNet or MSDN subscription by mid-November. However, these products are available earlier than your expectation. Cho phép upload nhiều document cùng một lúc

Mình thấy nhiều người có hỏi về vấn đề tại sao cái nút Upload Multiple Documents bị tô đen mà không biết làm sao cho hết, người thì bảo kích hoạt lại ActiveX control là chạy lên nhưng lại không biết ActiveX control gì vì có hàng chục ngàn control chạy trên trình duyệt. Người thì bảo do phiên bản IE không hỗ trợ, cài IE 9, 10 đi chạy có ngay.

Khi bạn mở 1 document library, bạn để ý bên dưới IE hỏi bạn có muốn chạy 1 office 2010 component nào đó không và bạn cũng không biết nó là component nào. Để tìm hiểu kĩ hơn bạn có thể mở phần Add-on đang chạy trên trình duyệt của bạn. Ở đây mình dùng Internet Explorer để truy cập SharePoint, với các trình duyệt khác mình không rõ lắm.

Bạn để ý thấy có 1 control có tên STSUpld.UploadCtl, chịu khó vọc ở trang http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms456628.aspx sẽ biết chức năng của nó ngay.

Khi nó được kích hoạt, bạn kiểm tra tính năng upload nhiều document ngay.

Hãy thử disable cái control kia sao, việc disable bạn chỉ cần click chuột vào button Disable góc trái trong cửa sổ quản lý add-on của IE.

STSUpld.UploadCtl được định nghĩa trong 1 file dll có tên STSUPLD.dll nằm trong thư mục %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office14\ khi bạn cài Office 2010. Nếu bạn cài đặt Office 2007 thì sẽ nằm trong %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12\.

Và mỗi khi bạn được end-user hay ai đó hỏi về lý do tại sao cái tùy chọn Upload Multiple Documents bị tô đen thì bạn cần bắt bệnh ngay:

File STSUPLD.DLL lưu trữ trong thư mục Office tương ứng. Nếu không có bạn có thể download tại http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-…/download.html và chép vào thư mục đã đề cập trên.
Control STSUpld.UploadCtl đã được kích hoạt.

4 cấp độ trong SharePoint branding

Bài viết này sẽ cung cấp cho các bạn hiểu biết cơ bản về 4 cấp độ trong branding Sharepoint. Tùy vào yêu cầu của từng khách hàng cụ thể, branding Sharepoint có thể chia ra làm 4 cấp độ ảnh hưởng.

I. Basic Theme:
- Mục đích của Sharepoint theme là tạo ra một giao diện hơi khác so với giao diện mặc định của Sharepoint mà không cần đụng chạm tới CSS hay Master Page. Dùng theme, bạn có thể thay đổi màu sắc một số thành phần của Sharepoint sao cho giống với nhận diện thương hiệu của khách hàng nhất. Theme trong Sharepoint được sử dụng một cách khá đơn giản. Theme bao gồm những bảng màu, font chữ được định nghĩa sẵn. Sử dụng theme, bạn thể thay đổi được màu sắc, font chữ… của giao diện sharepoint. Việc tạo ra theme cũng không phức tạp, trong Sharepoint 2010, theme có thể được xây dựng bằng PowerPoint, xuất nó ra thành tập tin .thmx và sau đó đưa lên Sharepoint.
- Mức độ này, giao diện vẫn như mặc định của Sharepoint nhưng có thay đổi một số màu sắc và hình ảnh:
+ Thiết kế dựa vào nhận diện sẵn có
+ Dùng logo có sẵn
+ Thay đổi một số màu sắc, font chữ
+ Thay đổi một số thuộc tính CSS cơ bản
+ Không ảnh hưởng tới Master Page hay Page Layouts
- Thời gian thực hiện: 1-2 tuần

II. Brand Adaptation:
- Cấp độ này hơi phức tạp hơn việc sử dụng theme một chút do bạn phải làm việc với Master Page. Ở mức này, bạn có thể phải di chuyển một vài thành phần của trang như là khung tìm kiếm hoặc thiết kế lại phần header. Mặc dù ở mức độ này, về cơ bản, site của bạn vẫn giống Sharepoint nhưng bạn đã có thể thay đổi thêm một số thành phần để giao diện đồng bộ hơn với website giới thiệu của khách hàng trên internet.
- Ở mức này, bạn có thể kết hợp được nhận dạng thương hiệu của khách hàng với một chút can thiệp vào Master Page:
+ Thiết kế dựa theo nhận diện có sẵn
+ Sử dụng logo có sẵn
+ Thay đổi màu sắc, font chữ
+ Thay đổi nhỏ trên Master Page
+ Không can thiệp tới Page Layouts
- Thời gian thực hiện: 3-4 tuần

III. Custom Brand Adaptation:
- Cấp độ thứ 3 này, bạn sẽ bắt đầu làm cho giao diện site thật sự khác với mặc định của Sharepoint. Quá trình này bao gồm việc tùy biến CSS, master page và page layouts.
_ Ở mức độ này, bạn sẽ sử dụng một thiết kế sẵn có để làm mẫu và tùy biến giao diện dựa trên thiết kế đó bằng cách can thiệp vào master page và page layouts.
+ Thiết kế có sẵn
+ Logo có sẵn
+ Thay đổi phần lớn màu sắc và hình ảnh trên site
+ Thay đổi master page
+ Tạo một số page layouts
- Thời gian thực hiện: 3-4 tuần

IV. Custom Design
- Giai đoạn này, bạn sẽ không còn sử dụng một thiết kế có sẵn của Sharepoint nữa mà sẽ tự mình thực hiện một giao diện mới hoàn toàn. Điều này đòi hỏi rất nhiều thời gian để phát triển bởi vì thật sự bạn không có gì để mà dựa theo. Mức độ này phù hợp với việc thiết kế một Public Internet Site hơn.
- Mức độ này bạn sẽ tùy biến lại hoàn toàn giao diện của Sharepoint:
+ Tạo một bản thiết kế mới
+ Thiết kế lại logo, thay đổi màu sắc, font chữ
+ Dựng lại nhiều trang master page
+ Thiết kế nhiều page layouts
+ Tùy biến lại các thành phần như navigation, web-part
+ Sử dụng Silverlight, jQuery, XSLT… (nếu cần thiết)
- Thời gian thực hiện: 6-8 tuần

Hy vọng với bài viết này, bạn đã có thể hình dung ra được những mức độ mà branding ảnh hưởng đến cả dự án Sharepoint của bạn. Từ đó có thể tìm ra cho mình mức độ phù hợp để thực hiện branding.

Cài đặt SharePoint Server 2010 trên Windows Server 8 Beta – Phần 2

Ở phần 1, bạn đã được hướng dẫn tạo máy ảo và cài đặt Windows Server 8. Trong phần 2 này, bạn sẽ cài đặt ADDS. Vì Windows Server 8 có rất nhiều tính năng mới đặc biệt ở giao diện quản trị nên có thể bạn sẽ cảm thấy có đôi chút khó khăn bước đầu sử dụng.Tại Server Manager, click Manage > Add Roles and Features.

Giống như Windows Server 2008, trước khi bắt đầu cài đặt AD DS, bạn cần đọc kĩ các thông tin tại trang Before you begin.

Tại trang Select installation type, bạn có 2 sự lựa chọn:

Role-based or feature-based installation: Tính năng cho phép bạn cài đặt cơ bản các role, feature trên một server.
Remote Desktop Services scenario-based installation: Tính năng mới cho phép bạn cài đặt từ xa .

Tại trang Select destination server , chọn server dưới SERVER POOL.

Tại trang Select server roles, chọn Active Directory Domain Services. Cửa sổ Add Roles and Features Wizard hiển thị, nhắc nhở bạn phải cài đặt các thành phần, dịch vụ cần thiết trước khi cài đặt AD DS. Click Add Features.

Tại trang Select features bạn có thể bỏ qua hoặc cài đặt feature bạn muốn.

Đọc kĩ thông tin cơ bản về AD DS. Tại trang Confirm installation selections, chọn Restart the destination server automatically if required.

Click Install.

Sau khi hoàn tất cài đặt AD DS, click Promote this server to a domain controller.

Tại trang Deployment Configuration, chọn Add a new forest. Nếu bạn đã có domain controller hoặc forest có thể sử dụng 2 tùy chọn đầu tiên. Nhập tên domain, đảm bảo NETBIOS không trùng.

Tại trang Domain Controller Options , chọn Windows Server 8 Beta tại 2 thiếp lập: Forest functional level và Domain functional level. Dưới Specify domain controller capabilities, chọn Domain Name System (DNS) server để cài đặt DNS role lên cùng một server.

Nhập DSRM (Directory Services Restore Mode).

Giữ mặc định tại trang DNS Options . Tại trang Additional Options , xác nhận lại NETBIOS.

Tại trang Paths , giữ mặc định hoặc lựa chọn nơi lưu trữ AD DS database, log files, và SYSVOL.

Tại trang Review Options , click View Script để xem các đoạn code PowerShell
Tại trang Prerequisites Check , hệ thống sẽ kiểm tra các thành phần cần cài đặt để đảm bảo không xảy ra lỗi trong quá trình cấu hình AD DS.

Khởi động lại sau khi cài đặt.

Sau khi cài đặt AD, bạn có thể cài đặt thêm các máy ảo đóng vai trò WFE/Application sau đó thực hiện join vào domain. Tại Server Manager, click Configure this local server trên giao diện Dashboard . Click WORKGROUP.

Click Change ở cửa sổ System Properties. Tại cửa sổ Computer Name/Domain Changes, gõ Domain and gõ NetBIOS.

Cài đặt SharePoint Server 2010 trên Windows Server 8 Beta – Phần 1

Microsoft vừa tung ra bản Windows Server 8 Beta (tên chính thức là Windows Server 2012) với rất nhiều tính năng mới. Là một quản trị viên SharePoint cũng như các công nghệ Microsoft liên quan như Windows Server và SQL Server. Trong loạt bài viết này, mình sẽ hướng dẫn các bạn cách cài đặt SharePoint 2010 trên Windows Server 8 và SQL Server 2012 để mọi người có thể trải nghiệm các tính năng mới trên Windows Server 8 và SQL Server 2012 trong khi chờ đời SharePoint 15 Beta sẽ được công bố vào quý 3 – 2012.

Bài viết chỉ với mục đích test, do đó bạn không nên thực hiện trên môi trường Production. Trước khi cài đặt, bạn cần download bản cài đặt sau:

Windows Server 8 Beta: Microsoft cung cấp cho bạn 2 phiên bản Windows Server 8 dành cho developer và quản trị viên.

Bạn có thể download từ MSDN/TechNet Subscription nếu có.

Tại trang Download Windows Server “8″ Beta, bạn có 2 sự lựa chọn: 64-bit ISO và VHD (English Only). Nếu bạn muốn cài đặt Windows Server 8 Beta từ đầu, có thể lựa chọn 64-bit ISO, sau đó cấu hình trên Hyper-V. Nếu bạn muốn nhanh chóng trải nghiệm Windows Server 8 Beta mà không cần cài đặt, bạn có thể download tập tin VHD. Sự lựa chọn thứ 2 giúp bạn tiết kiệm thời gian.

Bạn có thể download từ MSDN/TechNet Subscription nếu có.

SQL Server 2012: bạn có thể download tại đây (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en….aspx?id=29066) hoặc tại MSDN/TechNet Subscription nếu bạn có tài khoản.

Về phần cứng yêu cầu, bạn cần đảm bảo phần cứng phải đáp ứng tối thiểu các yêu cầu từ Microsoft.

Trong bài viết này, mình sử dụng Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter cài đặt Hyper-V đóng vai trò physical host. Phần 1 sẽ gồm 2 bước chính:

Cài đặt Windows Server 8 Beta
Cài đặt Active Directory Domain Services và tạo các tài khoản.

Mở Hyper-V Manager bằng cách click Start > Administrative Tools > Hyper-V Manager. Trên giao diện quản trị Hyper-V, click Action > New > Virtual Machine.

Tại trang Before You Begin, đọc lại các chú thích và click Next. Nếu bạn đã biết các thông tin này, có thể đánh dấu chọn Do now show this page again để bỏ qua.

Tại trang Specify Name and Location, nhập tên của máy ảo. Bạn có thể giữ mặc định và thay đổi sau. Chọn Store the virtual machine in a different location, click Browse và chọn disk volumn để lưu trữ máy ảo. Đảm bảo disk volumn đủ dung lượng.

Tại trang Assign Memory, lựa chọn Ram phù hợp. Với Windows Server 8 Beta, bạn có thể sử dụng 2GB RAM. Ngoài ra, bạn có thể tăng hoặc giảm RAM sau.

Tại trang Configure Networking, lựa chọn network adapter có trên server. Bạn có thể thay đổi thiết lập này sau.

Tại trang Connect Virtual Hard Disk, chọn Create a virtual hard disk và hoàn thành các thiết lập.

Tại trang Installation Options, chọn Install and operating from a boot CD/DVD-ROM và chọn source cài đặt Windows Server 8 Beta.

Tại trang Completing the New Virtual Machine Wizard, xem lại các thông tin về máy ảo bạn mới tạo. Bạn có thể thay đổi các thông số sau trên Hyper-V Manager. Tại Hyper-V Manager, r-click vào máy ảo và chọn Connect.

Một cửa sổ mới mở ra, click icon Start. Tại cửa sổ Windows Setup, chọn ngôn ngữ, thời gian và đơn vị tiền tệ.

Click Install Now.

Chọn Windows Server 8 Beta Datacenter (Server with a GUID). Bạn có thể lựa chọn kiểu cài đặt Server Core nếu bạn muốn học gõ lệnh.

Chọn I accept the license terms after reading carefully license terms of Microsoft. Tại trang Which type of installation do you want , chọn Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).

Tại trang Where do you want to install Windows?, chọn nơi lưu trữ..

Click Next và đợi cài đặt. Nhập password cho tài khoản Local Administrator accunt. Bạn có thể click biểu tượng con mắt để xem password. Đây là một tính năng mới trong Windows Server 8.

Sau khi đăng nhập, bạn có thể thay đổi tên máy tính. Tại Server Manager, click Configure this local server, click tên mặc định tại thiết lập Computer name.

Tại cửa sổ System Properties, click Change and thay đổi tên máy tính.
Bạn có thể thay đổi IP cho môi trường test này.
